Use screentime to see your daily/weekly use of you phone! You can also turn on Limits to stop use after a certain time or amount of time.
This does seem extreme - but this makes it very difficult to get on social media. Logging on the the website to see your feed reduces the number of alerts you get. You can always redownload it later.
A first step in reducing temptation is reducing access to temptation. Plus, you'll sleep better at night if you reduce screen time before sleep.
Set specific focuses or just turn on do not disturb. This will limit notifications and the need to go on your phone in the first place!
