This one-day-a-year event is a way to get teenagers and pre-teens to think about their social media use and how to be smarter about its effects on their mental health.
The aimed effect is that participants reconsider their screen and media limits.
You!
Me!
Anyone you know who could use a break from social media
The purpose of a reboot day is to make people aware of social media use and its effects on their lives.
May 31st,
12:00am - 11:59pm
and when you want to!
Your devices: Phone, Video Games, Tablet, Computer, Smart Watch
Take a 1-day chill pill from social media. Think of it as self care, a challenge, or you’re curious about how it will make you feel.
Turn off your devices and relax. Log out of your apps and make a plan for how to use that time.
